Priscila Reports available for download!

Updated: Dec 27, 2024

The PRISCILA method is a collaborative and innovative educational framework that integrates four nom-formal learning methodologies, Theatre of the Oppressed, Deep Democracy, Critical Incident, and Spatial Assemblage to create an empowering training program tailored for migrant, asylum seeker, and refugee adult learners. Partners designed participant-centred pilot workshops to test and gather feedback on the efficiency of the PRISCILA Method in developping and recognising three Key Competences of the European Union's Key competences' framework for lifelong learning (3KCLL).

The 20-hour pilots were conducted between June and November 2024 in Italy, Spain, Germany, and Türkiye, with a total of 66 participants with diverse background and life experience, trainers and 5 partner organisations (CANTIERI METICCI, ACATHI, La Xixa, VHS Cham, HASAT). All pilot experiences included non-formal learning activities to foster the 3KCLL and the implementation of adapted Self-Evaluation tools to assess competences attainment by participants.

The reports collected from the four pilot Implementations offered valuable feedback and potential for Broader Application. The insights from these pilot reports will guide refinements to the PRISCILA method, ensuring its relevance and scalability for wider use in training programs aimed at empowering migrant and refugee communities across different settings.
